Wetherspoons pizzas use a sourdough base that's proved, stretched, topped and freshly baked to order — well above the standard for a pub. The small plates deal (3 items for £14.99, Mondays just 3 for £10) makes the 8" pizzas excellent value when combined with nachos, halloumi fries or loaded chips. This page covers all 8" and 11" pizzas plus every other small plates item for 2026.

The pizza section surprised me the first time I ordered from it. The sourdough base has a genuine bite to it — slightly charred underneath, proper chewy texture — and each pizza is topped to order in the kitchen. They're not sitting under heat lamps. For a pub chain, that's a notable commitment to quality.
The small plates deal is worth planning around. Mix any three items — a pizza, some nachos and loaded chips for example — and you get all three for £14.99 any day of the week. On Mondays that drops to £10. That's a serious meal for one or a good sharer for two. I've used it every Monday I've been to Wetherspoons this year.
Pizza was the section that surprised me most the first time I ordered it. The sourdough base is proved, stretched, topped and baked fresh to order — which puts it a clear notch above what you expect from a pub, where pizza often means something reheated. The crust has a proper chew and a bit of char underneath, and that alone makes it worth ordering.
The smart move here is the small plates deal. The 8-inch pizzas sit in the small plates section, which means you can mix any three items — a pizza, some nachos, loaded chips — for £14.99 any day, or just £10 on Mondays. On a Monday, a Spicy Meat Feast pizza plus halloumi fries plus cheesy chips for a tenner is genuinely one of the best deals I know of in any UK pub. I've used it more Mondays this year than I'd care to admit.
For a proper sit-down dinner, the 11-inch pizzas come with a drink and are a sensible single-person main. The Spicy Chicken is my pick — the pulled chicken thigh carries far more flavour than a plain chicken breast topping, and the Naga chilli and garlic herb sauces give it a proper kick. The vegan Mediterranean vegetable pizza is a genuinely good option rather than an afterthought, and at 349 calories for the 8-inch it's surprisingly light.
One thing worth knowing: the extra toppings are cheap, so if you want to build your own, adding a couple of 99p toppings to a margherita can work out better value than jumping to a fully loaded pizza. And the garlic pizza bread, especially the 11-inch with cheese, is the best sharer on the menu — split it across a table and it elevates the whole meal.
For the 3-item deal on a Monday, I'd go: Spicy Meat Feast 8" + Nachos + Loaded Chips. All three for £10 is genuinely absurd value — it's the kind of spread that would cost £30+ in most city restaurants. The Spicy Meat Feast has four different toppings including sliced fresh chilli, which gives it proper flavour.
If you're ordering a 11" for a proper dinner, the Spicy Chicken at £10.78 with a soft drink is excellent — the pulled chicken thigh is noticeably more flavourful than a plain chicken breast pizza. See the full Wetherspoons menu for all other categories.
